Baseball started in April and just finished up last week. We played at Lakewood in NLR and it was a great season! He was on the #1 team! The Lakewood Brewers finished the season as League Champs and closed it up with a Post Season Tournament win to take 1st place. He is ready to polish his skills for next Spring, but he is ready for football to get under way, which will be soon enough. See the Lakewood Brewers link in the "handy links" list for his team blog.

We tried something new this summer....Swim Team. It has been alot of fun and learning. She is doing really well for her 1st year. She has already improved her times from the 1st meet. It has been a different experience for us as a family since it is quite unlike "ball" sports, but we have enjoyed it. She's quite the little fishie, so it's been fun. She's almost through with only 2 more meets to go. I'm am certain she'll do this again next year!

Sorry for the lag in updates...I'll try to do better. Baseball has wrapped up, swim team is soon to end, but then there's VBS @ church, vacation, football will start up, then school starts! Wow, time flies when you're.....having fun! Take care, God Bless, and we'll ttyl!
