We had a wonderful surprise on Friday March 7! We had a beautiful snowfall! It was forecast to start Thursday night. Well, in our neck of the woods there was nothing happening, and much to the kids' dismay, there was a boring, unchanged landscape Friday morning. But, by mid morning, the snow began to fall and fall and fall. They were let out of school at 1:00 pm, and spent the afternoon in the snow. Our dog wasn't too sure about it all, but had her own fun, too. When I got in from work around 4:00, I was planning to get in my lazy clothes and snuggle in to hot chocolate and TV, but hubby and the kids had a different idea. I walked in and they were ready for me to get out and ride the ATV & UTV (4-wheeler and Rhino). We got out and I snapped some pics, then we headed down to our neighbors' house. We visited with them while the kids made a HUGE snowball on their front porch. We headed back home and got in just before dark. Then we snuggled in. The kids got out the next morning to play in the snow before it melted off that mid day. It was a welcome blessing of snowy fun! We hope you all enjoyed your snow, too, if you had some!
